letting the glue dry while I get my shadowbox things ready......

maybe this is why.....my latest purchases from Paper Crown in Ok. City and what was waiting for me when we got home, from Funkie Junkie!

I actually stamped it it antique linen distress inks, used prima watercolors (pastels), prisma water color pencils, and prisma colored pencils.  

Time to put them all away and let it dry.......

ahhhh warmth again....

made it back to Tucson.....
stopped at Paper Crown in Ok. City and hit the jackpot.....
I haven't bought a wood mounted stamp in a hundred years but this one was a MUST.....
also bought a few unmounted.....
playing right now (instead of laundry...)

well, today my sizzix acrylic plate just snapped as I die cut some chipboard....
and yesterday my favorite scissors seemed to have vanished.....(into the trash, which got picked up this morning, I'm afraid)

Went to Joann's this morning - nothing!  Even Jeff thought it was strange to see so many empty bins and shelves.  (and it was before my plate snapped in two, luckily I did have another one).

I did get a new Paper Trimmer.  It will work just fine.  I do wish

the 3 7/8 mark was in a different spot but I can work with it.

Onward and upward, it's the only way to go.

Classes are set at Scrappy Chic.  Sign ups are underway.

Old Dogs/New Tricks

oh no!!! it finally happened........

Many of you personally know my Fiskars Gray Cutter.  It's cut most if not all of the papers for all of my classes, kits, make-n-takes, demos........
I've even had offers from people to buy her.  Remember, she made the greatest shabby cuts.
She is, well, was over 20 years old or at least close to that.

Today I am sad to report that she is no longer with us.  I dropped her on our tile floor.  We are still looking for a few pieces.  Jeff thinks he might be able to repair her.....but blades are no longer available, haven't been for several years.  Thanks to all of you for your blade donations.....

Tomorrow we go to Michaels.  And, I will have to learn how to use a new one.

ps.....it happened while cutting the final piece of paper to complete the final FaLaLa Christmas card sample today so I guess I was lucky there.
