atc coin holder

I'm getting ready for next year's Card Sketches thank yous.
This year I made little framed atcs.

here's a sample of one.
Next year I've decided to make ATC coins so I made a holder  yesterday to be ready.

It measures 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 x 1 and will hold 12 coins easily.  There are 9 window pages and pockets on the inside front/back covers.
Interested in making one for your coins?  Let me know and I will send the directions!

need a little Fall fun???

create a shabby chic Fall banner.  so easy, too.
I don't usually reveal my sources but this is too cute to keep.....

check out Shabby Art Boutique.com for the all the banner pieces.  You may need to scroll down a few posts to find it.
I printed mine onto copy paper then glued the pieces to cardstock for more strength.  You could probably print right onto the cardstock, depending on your printer...

I punched holes and threaded twine through them but you could simply hot glue them as suggested in the directions.  My clothespins are just for looks, too.

Go ahead......have some Fall Fun!!

autumn begins......

we don't get many color changes here so I decided to create some myself.

Using techniques from the watercolor class a few weeks ago, I created 4 x 3 1/2 panels.  The two on the right (top/bottom) used distress oxides.  I also tried to follow the color combinations given out.  If I didn't have a color listed, I used one from the color family.....
then I die cut leaves and.......

this is what happened!
I'm going to let them rest, and try a few more techniques to make their colors pop more.
Back soon to show you!

Happy Autumn!!!

cleaned my table.......

yep.  I cleaned my worktable and made a few things from what I found.......

a piece of watercolor paper, some flowers, a chipboard frame, distress inks, ribbon, even the torn words were all waiting for me to clean up.

the little frames were already done.  I added some buttons and flowers.  Oh, and glued the frames together to make one little thing.

I even found the little strips of crepe paper already made into fringe.

The table hasn't been this clean in a loooooong time!

hmmm

does anyone else need to do this?????

this is how I broke my Vagabond.  When I caught myself adding the plate with my sizzix, I got out a permanent marker immediately.
Hopefully, it will help!
