time flies!

hi there,
so sorry for the absence.  I never meant to be gone for over a week.  And, I can't really explain why.....
I don't have too much to report either.  I have been finishing up projects and have the beginnings of more.

I am almost as finished as I will be with the paper bag book in the back.  The covers are on and the embellishments are just about finished.  I  want to add a fabric spine to hide a few imperfections.
The little book on the right has been waiting to get finished for months.  I finally distressed the pages, added some stamping and doodling and figured out the closure.  It's name is "think kind thoughts" and has lots of kind thoughts stamped on the pages.
The black project on the left was suggested to me by a dear friend in Michigan.  It is an ATC holder.....

It can be made to hold as many as you wish.  This one holds 10 cards.  And I couldn't have it sit empty so I made 10 ATC's using lots of different techniques from molding paste, to splats, stamping and paints.

Knock on wood but I do believe every kit is finished for classes at Scrappy Chic next month and I thank everyone for signing up.  Last check had just about every spot filled.  It will be great to see everyone again!

The monsoon season is in full swing.  Every afternoon the clouds roll in, the thunder begins and the lightening flashes across the sky.  No rain is ever guaranteed everywhere but it usually falls somewhere.  So far we haven't had too much at all.  Sprinkles on the sidewalks but not enough to create puddles.

We did have a beautiful rainbow yesterday and I will leave you with a picture.
