classes
No classes this trip.....
due to unforeseen circumstances, I will not be scheduling any classes for May/June at Scrappy Chic.
It's a difficult decision but I realized time is moving too fast to get everything together.
i will return and will be posting here, too.
whew....that was hard to do.....

ugh......
failure!!!
trying out a new journal - failure - big time!
luckily it was "only paper" and a cereal box....
back to the drawing board and using what I know works this time.
just wanted you to know I was still around. I have a lot of things started but don't have the motivation to stick with them long enough to finish.
This is where Covey usually helps...."begin with the end in mind."

flower garland or winter or patriotic or halloween .....
cute flower garland measures about 6 x 36"
supplies for one flower, (I made 5 and linked them together)
one 6 x 12 pc. designer paper
two small cardboard squares about 1 1/2 (I used a cracker box)
one 1 1/2 inch scallop paper coordinating circle
two pieces green cardstock about 3 x 2
tools:
scoreboard
glue gun
scissors
directions:
score designer paper @ 1/2 inch all the way to end and cut in half (3 x 12) and accordion fold.
glue together to form one long strip and then glue ends together to form a ring.
flatten (push top down into center),hold and glue cardboard to centers of both sides.
Add scallop circle to the side you want to face out.
cut 5 slits up, balancing out the petals.
make leaves and attach to flower.
add button centers and string together (punch 1/8 holes opposite each other on flowers and thread string through them.
they can be made smaller, too! I'll show you that version soon!
the sky's the limit, too, depending on your paper choices!!
red.white/blue, black/orange/yellow........

words of gold...
"my final words today to you are simply this: love one another. love with fierceness and authenticity, and by all means with expression. do not wait to be asked for help; simply help. be there. be real. and love, with passion and without ending. "
thank you, nina, for these words.......
