oh no!!

my crafting has come to a complete halt.  I have used up all of my matte multi medium!  I never thought this would happen.  And my order won't be arriving until Saturday!  Luckily, my deadlines and orders have a little time left.

what to do.....what to do......
here is a cute project, perfect for Mothers Day, Easter or Spring.  Just change up the papers!

Start with 2 sheets of cardstock 11 x 5.
score both at 5 and 8
With the 5 inch panels at each end, join the 3 inch panels by overlapping them and gluing together.
Re-fold accordion style with the first fold a mountain fold.

decorate each panel.  I used decorative paper cut 1/4 inch smaller.  And added a strip of cardstock that matched the base to each section.  I then used some die cuts and stamping.
The final embellishments were flowers cut from the tattered florals sizzlet die.  Once they were cut I spritzed them with water and scrunched them up.  Once they were dry, I carefully un-scrunched them, layered smaller ones on top of the larger ones, added some distress ink and glued them down.  This is a great way to make flowers.  I put a dot on W. Vecchi black enamel in each flower center and let this dry.

I got out my WeR envelope maker and made an envelope sized 5 1/2 x 7 1/2, added a score line to give the envelope some depth and placed the folded decoration inside , ready to be given to someone special.

Fun, relatively quick and a cute card/gift.  I think I will make another one now!
see you later.
