into the woods......

We went to the movies for Christmas.  It is something I haven't done in years - go to the movies.
Into the Woods!  It was great!  Every seat was filled.
by the time it was over, the Chinese restaurant was closed so we ate at a local buffet restaurant (not so good but fun).

Hope your day was just right for you!
More art will be coming soon.  My Cinch is out and ready to use.  The covers are set to go and so is the inside pages.  I will post soon.

ornaments

These are straight from the latest Stampington Holidays issue.  This is a great publication.  It covers the entire year.  I have all the materials ready for more.  They don't take long at all either.  I used stickles glitter in diamond to add the sparkle.
tea dyed muslin, floss, and an disolve-able tracing pen (thinking sewing and blue) is all it takes.  I also added some lightweight fusible interfacing to the muslin after the stitching and then turned them into little pillow ornaments just like in the article by Shirley Hudson.

we had a few visitors this morning, too.  Four Wiley coyotes were strolling on the golf course.

snow on the mountain

If you look close and make the pictures bigger, you may be able to see snow on mountains!  It came last night and this morning to the higher elevations.

trifold photo holder with a special picture inside.  I will show you that after Christmas.  I don't want to spoil the surprise.  Papers were from a great pack I picked up last year.  I am still trying to use what I have.
more tomorrow!

gifts

I had a lot of fun creating some special gifts for special people.

One holds a great picture of a family heirloom.  Another came straight out of Stampington's latest Holiday issue.  They are stitched ornaments found on the cover and inside.  And another is one I made last year using Graphic 45 Twelve days of Christmas.

Come back tomorrow to see pictures of them!

I leave you with this picture of some wild animals.

javelinas!
