glittered!

a little messy but what a shine.  I've had this robin's egg glass glitter for 5 years and finally got to use it!  learned a few things and will definately try some touch ups to this fun design.
Used  Martha Stewart's crytsal fine glitter on the white parts.  And Multi matte medium for the glue.

A great thing about glass glitter - it doesn't stick to you - no static!

time for the Henry Ford vitual  Tree Lighting Ceremony.  One of the first times we aren't actually there but we are hopeful for better times ahead.

these could be addicting........

first attempt at a log cabin using what I have.  too much fun.  oh, its sitting on a little battery operated tealight.

painted the corrogated paper (originally white) with a green "tin" roof.  roughed up some acetate with a nail file for the windows.

if you don't see any posts for a while, you know what I'm doing!

our friend lives in a cabin up north, just like this one.

brrr! snow in the mountains

Hard to believe it is colder here than in Michigan!  There is snow on the mountain tops surrounding us here in Tucson, too.  I'm not complaining after the hellish summer we had!  Even two days ago we were sweating in 90+ degree weather.

Kids never have to worry about wearing their winter coats over their halloween costumes here and this year was no different.  Our neighborhood held a scavenger hunt.  People "hid" things in their yards and the trick or treaters went around the neighborhood looking for them.  A list was provided so they would know what to look for at participating houses.

With things being different this year you may need a little kick to stay motivated in your crafting.  So I am offering my Sketches and Scraps card kits again this year.  Each month you will receive a kit to make 4 all occasion cards.  The kit contains everything you need to complete each card.  I mean everything:  card/envelope, papers cut to size, embellishments, stamped images, tips, hints and ideas to make them work.  Also included is a color photo of each card.  You will also get the sketch used for each card and another sample using scraps from my stash so you can see a different version.

All this for $12!!  That's right - a card class for only $12.  You can sign up for 3 months, 6 months or the entire year and do not have to go any further than your mailbox.

If you are interested, comment below or email me.

Stay safe!  Stay warm!

gone!

and just like that a bulldozer went into the church parking lot and knocked down all of the balancing rocks - see previous post (maybe 2 ago).

They are all gone.  The church began services on Sunday and needed the parking.

Creating and project making have slowed down a little but visit again soon.  There may be one or two things I have completed......
