good news!

I found my glue!  Maybe I will have a project or two for you this weekend...
Saturday is National Scrapbook day.  Do you have a project to work on?
Books, cards, mixed media, anything....

One interesting thing about moving/downsizing - you find things you forgot all about!
Started a little project for some friends.  Stop by tomorrow and I will post a picture or two

Good to be "back in the saddle again"!

And a little commercial for Garth and Trisha...they will be live from the Opry this Saturday night 8pm est.
Google The Circle Opry for info on how you can watch....

stop back again!

our new view

Here is our new view from the front porch

a very cute cottage with hundreds of rose bushes in full bloom.  And he shares!

A bouquet he delivered last night.  There are over two dozen roses in the most beautiful colors, sizes and types.
They have been blooming for about 2 weeks now.
And they smell heavenly!

On a creative thought....if you are interested in card kits for June, July and or August, let me know.
You can order one, two or all three.
leave a comment or email me before May 1.
thanks!

one week!

We are lucky that we both have had a lot of camping experience in our lives -
just did a "load of laundry" in the sink.  The solar dryer is working on high today.  Temps will be in the 90's for the rest of the week.
The AC is working very nicely in our small  100 yr. old house.
Yep, it's an old house in an old nieghborhood, surrounded by old homes that house people of all ages.
Reminds me a little of East Lansing (or any college town) with a mix of families, singles, young, old, college, professors, artists........
The house across the street has hundreds of rose plants.  Their fragrance is amazing!  Blooms bigger than my open hand.

I am still working on the craft space.  Starting to get the itch to create!

First time using those Storage/Space Saving bags, you know, the ones you vacuum the air out.
Very impressed so far with sweaters and blankets we won't be needing for a while.

So, keep checking in.  I will begin arting again soon.

Hope everyone is good out there!

let's hope I labelled everything correctly and clearly!
shelves will replace the boxes.

nearing the end....or the beginning....

moving = stress!

5 days to closing...
packing/moving/packing more/moving/packing more and more/moving

still packing/moving...

the rule:  if you haven't worn it/used it/opened it in a year - get rid of it....

how about if you have moved it three times and still haven't opened it?

there will be a "free" box in front of the new house for days/weeks/months....

stay home  stay safe

hmmmm

today was my first day grocery shopping in a while.
things I learned:
I am not very good at social distancing yet....
Masks are necessary but breathing can be a little difficult
glasses steam up when wearing masks
you must re-set you PIN after receiving a new card...

we should be all set now for at least 2 - 3 weeks

people here are still idiots:
golf is an essential business and it's ok to share carts
dinner parties are still happening everywhere in our neighborhood and its NOT the younger generations

Looks like we may miss two visits there....

moving to our "little house"   here very soon (bigger than a tiny house - about the size of our garage back in MI). And up for the challenge!  People in that neighborhood are making masks for the homeless....

hope you are all doing good!
