HOORAY!

mailable!

the full view out of the envelope

could fold into a square, too, just finish the bottom sections

"falls into shape" as you pick it up
the center center can act as a vase for pinwheels, flowers, sparkly tassels ......

a bit of a close-up of the panels decorated using punches

inspiration for the next one - this just fell out of a paper pack as I was moving it.

wanna know how to make it?  email me, leave a comment below or message me on facebook....
soon - so I can take pictures as I go with the next one.

fyi

Michaels 40% off online orders

use code X6D7B7JHMDJJ

expires 7/21/2020  (that's today)

curbside pick up or ship to home.....

that's 40% off your total....I just stocked up on card packs, ds tape, glue, waxed linen and mini velcro dots (I love these for small journal closures instead of magnets)

another little tease from my latest project!  Next one I make will be for Halloween!
It will make me feel cooler.

Walked a block up the street last night to see the BigHorn fires.  Very big, very scary, a lot of them scattered all over the mountain side.  We never expected to see them that close up.
Billowing smoke during the day.
We're not close but we have a great view of the mountains.

hooray!!

Just a little tease......

just a few little things

pocket journals

nothing fancy about the closure....but it works!

flips, fold-outs and pockets

a mini...closed it measures 3 x 3

opened revealing pockets, tuck spots and even a little journal in the center

and an unexpected delivery....
" your dirt is here"

luckily the fence removal made for a perfect gate.
we also "discovered"  our new driveway location

amazing driver!! just a few maneuvers and he was in!
a little dust and a lot of dirt!

and he's gone that fast.

and the dirt pile is getting smaller as the shed floor gets leveled.

working today on a fun Americana project that can become anything you want depending on papers and embellishments.
back with more soon!

never ending card fun

Okay, this card is fun for all ages, but if you have a young one in your family, you have to make one
It is very easy and requires few supplies - I know you have everything you need!

open top and bottom

open sides

open center section top and bottom

open the center sides and it takes you back to the beginning

and you can do it again and again!

perfect paper!

and an envelope using the WR envelope punch board for a 6 x 6  card

cut 4 pcs. cardstock 3 x 6 and score each end @1 1/2
mark 2 pcs. at 1 1/2 on the ends

I marked all 4 but didn't need to.

line up the 2 marked pcs and put adhesive between the marks and the scores.
***The pieces to but up to one another and touch but not overlap - don't go by this picture except where to add glue.
  Do not go past either.
Lay the other pcs on top of these, going the other way  (oops - no picture) again butting them up to one another but not overlapping.....
do not overlap anywhere or the card will not open.

You can google this card type for more pictures and samples.
Lots of fun!!

my projects for today....yep, I used hair bands insead of elastic (the elastic doesn't work with behind the ear aids or Cochlear implants).  I ordered round elastic but it hasn't arrived yet.  Did find this vintage package while looking for something else though.

Must be over 25 years old - in with my mom's stuff....saving it just in case.......

We've had heat temp breaking days here this week and Covid 19 is spiking BIG in Tucson and AZ.
Oh, I almost forgot the wildfire smoke is in the air, too.....We can see the flames at night.  Not close enough to worry but still scary.

Perfect days for staying inside and creating.  I have more but you'll have to come back to see!

Fun Accordion Card - easy peasy!!

Making a Fathers Day card for a great dad!

one pc. 5 1/2 x 12 score @ 1, 4 1/2, 8
one pc. 5 1/2 x 11 score @ 2 1/2, 5, 8

adhere together (look closely to see the join above)

decorative papers:
1 pc. 3 3/4 x 5 1/4 (back panel - gray pc)
2 pcs. 3 1/4 x 5 1/4 (** one side is letters the other is squares)
2pcs. 2 3/4 x 5 1/4   **
2 pcs. 2 3/4 x 5 1/4 **
2 pcs. 2 1/4 x 5 1/4  **

the paper clips helped a lot!
I will be adding some type of closure as I continue...

I did cut solid cardstock to mat each piece but it became way to thick so they went into the scrap pile.

Check back to see the finished card and maybe another style using different papers.  It has lots of possibilities.

Next up -  a never-ending card!
