Loving this Paper!!

My Valentine paper line by Carta Bella

start with 5 1/2 x 8 1/2  cardstock. Fold in half to make a card.
Score one piece of  10 x 5 1/4 cardstock at 2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and fold accordion style
Attach one end to front, spacing it evenly  then fold over and attach to back, fix spacing if needed.
Cut 3 pieces about 2 x 2 and test to make sure they don't show when folded ( I had to re-do my accordion piece)
Attach top and bottom piece then the middle to get spacing.

I added the end pieces and attached the message at the top and bottom so I could slide $$ inside for ice cream!
I think he will like it.  I know he will like the ice cream!

loving litle houses!

A long time ago I used to think....what's better than buying one?  buying two (or more) of course.

Then, saving them up for "something good".  Well, no more!!

How many of you bought one or more of these for only $1?

I'm using mine up, along with paper scraps, T. H. frames and little house dies.
Looking for something to put inside, it may take a little while to find what I want, but I know I have something......

Loving this set of house dies, too. and it comes with many more dies.  Oh, the fence is another die from the set.
I slipped a piece of vellum between the house pieces to soften the color of the interiors.
Something fun to do while waiting for the temps to get a little warmer.
We are in a cold pattern with hard frosts at night.  29 degrees this morning!! It was 3 degrees colder here than in Michigan!!
But, the sun is shining and that makes a big difference.

8 weeks to Spring everyone!!

going, going .........

so January is half over, good news just about everywhere.

we've had 3 days of rain here, the California storms made it to Tucson.  Nothing too serious but gray clouds, cold, wind and rain are not the norm here.  Not complaining though - never would after seeing  what others endure.

I think I forgot to show you my New Year card!

I found another way to make this fun pop out twisty card.
And I don't know when I last heat embossed (the year's numbers are doubled up and embossed).
I do know it took me a looooong time to find my heat tool.
I love using up scraps, too.

Stop back again, I have a few more things to show you, afterall, three days of rain gets pretty long.
