it is finished!!

I finally did it!  I finished a chipboard book today.  It has been patiently waiting for a loooong time.

I painted the page pieces many months ago but just didn't have ideas for the rest, until yesterday.

lots of paper for journaling

The sticker on the right is attaching the journal space.

the right holder is actually a large sticker.
I cut it out and only glued the edges.

pockets, flips, tuck spots

this flower piece has been on and off several projects.
It finally found a home.

And I used up the rest of my Wild Asparagus paper/sticker collection.  That felt so good!

My cactus bloomed!  We thought it was dead last year but gave it some water to see what would happen.
Well, I sure am glad we kept it.
Yesterday there was absolutely nothing but cacti.  This morning I looked out and saw something emerging from one of the arms.  And then POP!  out came the flower.

Beautiful!!  I think another one is coming too.

Day One of triple digits.  May heats up here in the desert.  By the looks of it, Michigan weather will be warming up as well.

took a little break....

Lost a little creativity for a while, but it has returned.

I will have some little projects posted here in a little while - well, maybe a day or two.

stop back when you can!

May Day is coming!  Maybe I will fill a few little baskets with some flowers and treats.
How about you?

Spring at last????

Easter/Spring cards for family.
after stamping I discovered I had used the same
greetings stamp last year so I fixed it.
I do like the label dies but a brayer is essential to
get the ink loaded .

sequins add a little sparkle
(as long as they stay put!)

and one for the grandson
I even had the googly eyes!

Sounds like Spring weather has arrived in Michigan.
Stay safe and hopefully those tornadoes will stay away!
Still coldish here - we had freeze warnings last night.  Our heat is still coming on in April.
Hasn't been like this since 1940.
The high for Sunday is 91 though - Can't wait!!
