a little water color

this began with a scrap piece of paper I used to clean off my acrylic block.
then I saw a little stamp on the table.  it was a give away over 20 years ago (destiny - cactus???).
stamped in permanent ink.
then I pulled out my prima water colors and painted the sky.

it's not very big.
but it makes a great card front!
oops, already in the mail before the final picture.

hot and hoping for some rain today!

challenged but done!

just finished the Christmas cards for class at Scrappy Chic!  It was a difficult task.  The papers proved to be quite challenging.  That's what happens when I have to purchase them sight unseen.  But, they are finished and I am happy (not so much last night before bed).

watch for info here this week and, hopefully on the Scrappy Chic website next week.
Spaces for both the Christmas card class and the Autumn felt banner will be limited (even a little more that usual) so keep an eye out for info.

I may have a few things for a pop up market, keeping my fingers crossed there!

thanks for stopping by!

oh, this arrived earlier in the week.  It's so cute and tiny!

just look at the sizes, from 1" up to 4" envelopes!

and here is a look at the papers for the Christmas card class.

wip

I have to work a little at a time.....my hands start to perspire working with the wool but here is a glimpse....

and the Halloween journal......

letting the glue dry now...

I can't seem to get too inspired yet for Christmas projects.  Maybe more will happen after the new products come out in the next few weeks.

Funkie Junkie has a great sale happening right now.  If you like Wendi Vecchi, check it out.  Lots more, too, from Prima and Tim Holtz.

fyi

just thought you might like to know Roben Marie Smith is closing her online store.
Paperbag Studios stamps are on sale at some unbelievable prices.
I didn't know how many I had until I looked.  And I use them a lot and am often asked ....."where did you get that stamp?"......

Take a few minutes and check them out.  Store closes forever July 31.

Stay cool!
