stopped in my tracks.....

As I was clearing my table off (well, actually pushing things down to one end), I realized there were several projects close to completion.  So, I decided to finish them before starting a new one.  Yes, we have all been there.

I came pretty close to succeeding, too.  I even got most of my pictures ready for MY baby album. Special thanks to a special friend for gifting me a beautiful book to use.
(Some of these may be part of a class at Scrappy Chic this fall - one sheet wonders maybe?)

Then I needed a birthday card.

And then my house die called me and I had to make a few.  Want one?

and then this morning I came across a project I had to try.
I love it.  Watch for it as a class at Scrappy Chic in November!!!

So now I am going to clear off my table, again.  No, I'm going to really put things away this time and think about that junk journal.

Phew!  And, to all who are still wondering, it is very hot again today -  great for sitting inside and crafting!

I got the Mindy blues......

Having some inside fun with Prima and Mindy Lacefield.
It's 106 at 11:15 am.
remember when snow and cold would result in "indoor recess"?
that's what it feels like here - but not the cold and snow part......

I'm not really complaining, just amazed at it all.

more to come.....I have another one drying.

still here.....

yes, I'm still here.  lots of ideas and projects on my to-do play list.  just lost motivation!!
I'm not too worried though.  I just have to kick start myself.
Maybe putting down some gesso (clear) on tags and a few journal pages will help.  We shall see.

I also have two minis finished - well almost - why do I always get stuck on the covers????
Pictures are taken, too, just have to down load them so I can show you, along with directions!

Bought a few new supplies, too -  some Prima IOD molds, wax and Authentique papers.  Oh a White distress crayon, too.  Oh, well, it could be worse, I suppose........

And it's not even too hot to do anything yet!!

please keep checking back.  This post should get me in the groove.

Here they are!!  This could be the 18th year for our family at the Village!
