alarm went off at 3:55, time to get ready for the departure....airport by 5am ....plane actually left 10 minutes early.....filled and headed for Chicago with next flight to Detroit.....safe travels dear daughter.
we do love having her here!!!

Merry Christmas!!

frankly......

got my Christmas present today and will be opening it too!

we drove to Williams Sonoma, the only store to sell it, about 16 miles away.  It took almost 3 hours!  No problems but this town has NO FREEWAYS. NO timed lights.  Pedestrian crosswalks that stop traffic at the push of a button.  Crazy turn lanes........but the sun is shining 350 days a year...... so not really complaining either......

We're home. Our tummies are full - had to stop for sonoran hotdogs and chipolones to bring home, and that only took 10 minutes (the foodtruck is parked 5 minutes from home).

And I'm enjoying a "Christmas in a Cup"  too.

oh....and mountain lions are in the neighborhood!  not bobcats but the big guys!  Ask me how I know....

just drew up 14 sketches for next year's card kits.
January cards are sketched, cut and ready to assemble.
Kit making will be later this week.

$10 per kit - included:

sometimes I need a nudge to get going.  Today it was one cd....
I put it on and cleaned/put things away until it was over.
It worked!
Tomorrow I dust/vacuum/etc.
Wednesday I decorate.

I received a card like this one earlier in the year. Really liked the design - thanks Jan!
so I copied it.  a great way to use up scraps!

got a new mold last week and tried it out with some old clay.  love it!!

From here to there is this month's ATC theme.  This is the start.....watch for the finished card soon.

and made this cutey!  again.....uses up scraps and is very easy to make.....I even have a few variations.

oh....saw 19 meteors last night a just a few minutes!!  They always amaze me!

pouring down rain, loud thunder, 50ish degrees
so I'm plugging in the tree lights, putting on Carols and crafting!

CMA awards start in a little while and the rumor is GB will be performing.......

NO, I am not one of them but I may know them....just waiting for their announcement.

Happy November!!
Halloween is one of my favorite times of the year but this one was just too cluttered with the scary stuff.......spooky, gruesome monsters, skeletons, demons, vampires - not for me!
Hopefully, next year will be better.

But today is November 1st!!  Already!!  If you are interested in classes over Thanksgiving, now is the time to call the store - Scrappy Chic -  and sign up.
Monday is the deadline.

And, Tuesday I will post the supplies needed for each class here.

 I will also have a few samples for future classes in the Spring! Any requests????
