another card...

had lots of fun making these stand up cards that fold flat!

And they're a great way to use up scraps, too!  And I used my new sidekick to die cut some of the embellishments.

Both are on their way to brighten some days.

new tool!

I decided this would be used a lot, especially with smaller dies.

The Sizzix sidekick!  I got the Susan Barnard set because I really liked the dies and embossing folder.
On sale now at Scrapbook.com, too.

And here's what I've been up to the last few days.....

made a purse from some old fabric that I never used - so I did!  It is a cross over bag with two inside pockets.

started a new set of book covers......garden gate.......

and played some more with embossed images on watercolor.

Time for a break!
Here's hoping that storm veers to the south for all my friends and family in michigan.

play day

I got a little off track this morning and created a St. Patrick's Day card with a surprise inside.

It's not quite finished yet.  Still needs some embellishing and I'm not going to show you the surprise.
I'm saving it for a class in the early summer.

Here's another one I made yesterday morning.

I'm saving this one, too.

The Tag book is starting to shape up.

Yep!  Another class.

And, I played with some water color techniques.

I'm going try to incorporate these into a class - maybe techniques.

And one more class I'm working on......just the title this time......boxed.

We've decided to keep our March trip short and in the family.  I'm sure I will be stopping by the store but it will be a random thing.  Maybe we'll run into each other!

Stop by again, soon!

Valentines are finished!!  I do enjoy making these card boxes.  I especially love how they fold flat for mailing.
Check back tomorrow for some pretty easy directions to make your own.  These fold horizontally.

Happy February!!

How can you go wrong at the Dollar Tree???  Especially when you only take a few $$$ with you so there is no over spending!!  And, luckily we have them here in Tucson!!

Did you sign up for the free Tim Holtz class at Scrapbook.com?  It starts today!

I hope the groundhog does NOT see his shadow for all my Michigan family and friends.  You've already had enough winter!  He sees his shadow every year here but February marks the start of Spring here no matter what he sees.....
